Sweet potatoes getting outa hand. Im pulling these joints up this week. Ima take some of the slips and replant after I turn and replenish the soil though. I dont wanna leave them in the ground too long and pull up a bunch of holey bug eaten joints like last time cuz I left them down too long

Carrots will tell you. The tops will either start to flop down or they will start to go to seed. That's how you'll know. You can use your finger to move a little dirt to the side at the base to see how big it is cuz they usually start to pop out the ground a lil bit

I missed this...they don't have a chocolate taste, but they are sweeter then other cherry tomatoes. I've only had the 6 in the pic I posted because my oldest comes over and plucks everything off my plant while I'm not there 😒

Nice, I'll keep an eye out for them next year... I love trying different flavoured cherry toms... Golden Honey are still my favourite, they taste abit like sweet BBQ...

Some funky ass caterpillars ate up my kale! 🤬🤬🤬
When i first started doing my tomatoes I saw 2 of em, and was like im gone let em chill...... big mistake cause they called the friends and was like we got a sucker the next day I come out to water i see half the plant eaten up. Saw like 15 or so of em.
Went straight to Lowes talked to the lady she was laughing cause she was like I normally don't see guys so passionate about a plant.
She gave me something and said it would take em out and wouldn't harm my plants. Shot straight back home put a little water so it would stick to everything and hit it. By night time they were fertilizer and I left em there so they friends would see em

Leaves were starting to die off so I pulled up my ginger. Not much but ima put it to use

The turmeric is a lil whipped up but its not dying off yet ima let it keep growing. Gonna see if it makes it to January then ima harvest. I bet its already larger than the ginger.

Its getting close to that time again... Whats everyone growing this spring/summer???
Ive got some onions and carrots in the ground at the moment. I started some tomato seedlings im going to transplant in a couple weeks as well. Got some basil trying to come up as well.

I got two experiments going on too. I have a dwarf moringa seedling I just put into a pot. Once it matures ill probably make some powder out of the leaves or use them for tea. Im also trying to grow some licorice plants so I can make some tea from the roots.

I had some old pepper seeds that didnt sprout, gonna try that again
