Oh and another thing with 17, how strong has he become? Do yall think 17 is now stronger than a SSJ3? He's obviously way stronger than he was back in the Cell saga. Some people say he's on a SSB level.

Iono man.. if he wasn't at least close to SSB strong Jiren woulda obliterated this nigga one time.. he traded blows with Jiren.. holding back or not... he kept back Jirens attacks as much as Goku or Vegeta could... ill say 17 is slightly under they level... at the very least he stronger/smarter than Gohan punkass... give that man his props

SSB Vegeta is the only person thus far who has successfully injured & even knock Jiren down. UI Goku wasnt even able to do that.

He injured Jiren because he got a completely undefended shot in. Had anyone else managed that, they could have hurt Jiren too. I think people are overrating 17's power. It's not really like he did anything impressive from a power standpoint. What was impressive about him was, of course, the unlimited stamina and his cunning.

so we just gonna act like if krillin or roshi had a shot like 17 did they woulda did some damage? Or coulda blocked some of Jirens shit like 17 did? NAH son

I think they could have harmed him with the right move had they caught him unguarded. We know in the DB world, people are very vulnerable when they aren't prepared. But you're probably right that neither of them could have defended against Jiren's attacks.

They pretty much honoring him as a legit force from the gt arc

Dude always had the potential to be that great....

Not that inconsistent. No one ever said Jiren was a better fighter than them. He's just stronger, and he's been taking them on at the same time and sandbagging all the while. So that isn't really inconsistent. Now, the fact that he continues to sandbag even knowing his universe is on the line is stupid.

Losing clothe is nothing, attacks can hurt if unguarded look at Trunks in the Cell saga when Cell killed him and beat Vegeta with a mere slap....

Those two instances aren’t equal though because 17’s was after Jiren had fully powered up.

And 17 didn’t blow up “trying defend an attack from Jiren.” He intentionally blew himself up trying to destroy Jirens attack because it was about to eliminate Goku & Vegeta who were on their backs.
