The official COVID-19/Coronavirus Discussion Thread...aka I hope I don't get the Rona

you can blame leadership but so much.
after a while you have to blame those who will allow a leader to do that.

i remember a while ago greese shut shit down over something(cant remember} and the yellow vests were still giving them hell until recently...same with hong kong.

we cant keep blaming those in charge if we dont hold them accountable.
basically we are saying its ok to run us into the ground because we are american?

thats bullshit.

but thats whats happening.

no one is stepping to trump because of our american comfort. we can just wait him out and the next guy will fix it.

thats on us.

if the leader is inept what are the citizen supposed to do?

people are dumb ...i agree with you there. but being dumb an lazy is why trump is still here.

we need to be honest about what it is.....smoke and mirror is one thing.
but to keep watching the fucking dove to distract you when you know its a distraction is another thing.

i didnt take my nap and im tired of your shit. @AZTG bring your ass in here.

I feel you fam. We agree on this so there aint much to fight about.

Ofcourse the people deserve blame too. But that goes on the govt a bit too.

In a place Denmark for example, there is no such things are good schools and bad schools. The schools poor kids go too have the same resources as the schools rich kids go too. Not counting private schools ofcourse. This way all the kids get a fair education, and the cycle of being poor can be broken. Plus, this way the govt makes sure their citizens are educated enough to understand and call them on their shit.

In the US, schools in the ghetto dont compare to schools in the suburs. Also, going passed a racial divide, schools in poor rural white america, who are the dumb republican voters, dont compare to schools in rich white areas either.

So in one country we have a govt making sure all their citizens have access to a fair education, in another country we have the govt keeping poor people dumb systematically.

So the blame still goes to leadership more than citizens imo. Even though citizens need to take responsibility too.

The fact that the citizens was convinced they list their country....Speaks volumes.

We both know what it was so no need to say it.

But they rather a lunatic run the country because he's one of theirs....

And about the school's is classism but still falls into the citizens to fight for what's right or do it on their own.

Leaders are as strong as those who follow.

No lie the coincidence that this shit breaks out months after they shut the program down after 10 years of funding makes the "trump tryna sabotage election" conspiracy seem much more credible lmao

What the HELL? Why are they jumping on this Black Dude? And they aren't doing too good of a Job falling all over themselves, their Kung-Fu is HELLA WEAK.

People are dumb. So cant blame people. I said somewhere else that if the govt wasnt going to protect its citizens, why even have a govt.

Leadership is to blame for sure. The US is behind in a lot of its thinking. It still thinks too conventionality, when things have changed. Think Iraq, Afganistan, Libya, Syria for example. It treated all of them as conventional wars and pretty much lost them all cause wars arent fought conventionally anymore.

Same with economic theory. US govt still bases economics on the principles it did in 70s, 80, and 90s, whereas other civilized countries have figured out if you give everyone a liveable wage, health care and free schooling, then you spend more money on the front end, but you get a more educated work force which means higher paying jobs which means more spending, plus you since everyone can at the minimum get by, you reduce crime which means less prisons, and less cops, which means you save a ton of money. Free health care means you prevent diseases in people before its too late and preventive care is much cheaper than caring with people with diseases, so health care costs have gone down. This is why America has been falling behind in every metric, and countries that have modernized their understanding of economics are all ahead.

And this is the same with cyber wars. America has been thinking too conventionally and so its fallen behind on technology.

So you blame leadership.

And also, you blame Trump more than any other president cause these hes openly beneffitting from the trolling by Russian operatives and feeds into it, allowing them to cause my divide.

Co-sign on the bolded. I know some Foreigners who don't work those 8-hr Shifts (or longer) for Table Crumbs, they usually work $15-20/hr for 6 hrs at the most and have the rest of the Day to di what they need. Meanwhile, we're literally killing ourselves just to survive and barely spending time with our Families.
