Still no vax
Y’all why are people protesting kids wearing masks at school?
The impact of COVID-19, which is the cause of 500,000 deaths in less than two years, is a leading cause, not just on deaths directly due to infection but also from heart disease, cancer and other conditions. The definition of “life expectancy” is calculated by how long someone born today is expected to live. The average life expectancy last year was 77.8
Please read up on vaccines and how they work and you'll probably not be surprised as much by changes in guidance. A booster is not uncommon. We get a flu shot every year and we have boosters for many other common vaccines.Well, well, well...........
U.S. expected to recommend Covid booster eight months after second dose
The recommendation would apply only to people who have gotten the two-shot Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.www.nbcnews.com
So, for the past 2 weeks...........all we were hearing was how, if you're fully vaccinated, you only have a fraction of a percent of a chance of developing any serious symptoms of covid.
These so-called "breakthrough cases" were supposed to be so rare.
99.99% of those hospitalized were not vaccinated.
If you were fully vaccinated.......there was only a minuscule possibility that you would be hospitalized.
So, what's changed since then?
A few days ago, they were saying only people who were "immunocompromised"........needed to get a booster shot.
Now they're saying that anyone who has been fully vaccinated with Moderna or Pfizer needs to get a booster shot 8 months after their second shot.
Given this new "guidance"...........are we to assume that all fully vaccinated people are now immunocompromised?
Or are we to assume that they were never "fully vaccinated".............to begin with?
But what do I know?
My questions and concerns are just based on quote/unquote.............."misinformation."

Please read up on vaccines and how they work
So, the vaccines for Measles.......Chicken Pox.........and Polio work the same way as the covid vaccine?
Strangely enough, I don't think I've had to get a booster shot for any of these.
And I've been fully vaccinated against them since the early 70's.
And it makes them asymptomatic because once the virus enters the body, the body responds more quickly and kills it before it can do any damage. My basic take on the vaccine is that all it does is make folks asymptomatic. Vaxxed folks can still catch and spread covid its just that with the vaxx they won't have the symptoms or they won't be bad symptoms majority of the time.
I'm just keeping track of all this shit until it becomes fully approved.

Some of the first trials with this kind of vaccine, one concern was it would turn your immune system against you.Well, well, well...........
