Well America, ya had a good run.
They are talking about asymptomatic people who have been exposed. It does kinda make sense, IF those people could be trusted to self-isolate for two weeks just in case. But this is America so it’s actually terrible advice.
Uhh. Bruh, if you have been exposed, you need to get tested. If you think different...ok
We will never get anywhere close to knowing the real numbers...but they look bad changing course every two weeks, destroys credibility.
Maybe just for your own knowledge but again no real benefit since you can technically catch it multiple times
The numbers are secondary. Contact tracing is what's important. If you have it, then you've likely come into contact with others and exposed them. If you just isolate yourself then yeah you might prevent further spread, but you maybe allowing the spread you've already caused to go unchecked.
None of it matters though because we've already botched it. Shit is so out of hand that contact tracing at this point is barely feasible.
