If we had a more competent administration we could have gotten through this with no shutdowns. We wouldn’t even have to consider it under a good administration, but say we couldn’t have stopped community spread. If the federal government issued immediate guidelines that had the full force of law behind them we could have still been flying, still been at restaurants, etc. Just social distance from jump and wear masks and we would have been just as good or better off death wise while still staying open.
