Another match, another loss. Monfils simply can't get a win anymore.
He won like 13 of 15 matches early last year and looked better than ever. Even though he lost to Djokovic, the way he played in the first two sets in Dubai, I haven't seen him play on that level before. Then he won two titles in a row and also winning back-to-back titles for the first time in his career. It looked like he'd have an amazing year, then Covid-19 happened and since his return to tennis he hasn't won one single match. His losing streak now stands at six or seven consecutive losses. La Monf better get his shit together.....
