I still don’t really understand the sale cause I read somewhere that Roman was asking for the bids to be upped by £500m but I thought the government had basically taken Chelsea from him?

He isn’t a Utd fan. He’s a Chelsea season ticket holder.

All speculation I read that plus he wanted guarantee they would actually invest.

The government has taken it away in the sense he won't receive money( likely end up in a frozen account) but he will still be able to say what he wants from the sell just can't gain anything right now.... They will present the winner bid to the government then they will authorise the sell

Nah man that man is stingy compared to his wealth he's even known for being it. You have multiple clubs in Ligue 1 with owners who are not even half as rich as him who outspends him.

I’m basing this off of what he spent with Nice. Only PSG, Rennes (both with owner richer than him) spent more than him if I’m remembering correctly, since he got here
