Sucks this dude sacrificed so much of his game for Ronaldo (and team). So happy to see him thriving post Ronaldo.
That's what impressed me the most: from being the perfect lieutenant to carrying the team (almost) by himself and leveling up this late in his career. I don't think he's ever been this good.

Think confidence amongst the team is just really low. It's hard to judge a lot of them.

Yeah Gravenberch is the future, not sure why Schuurs didn’t get much game time but fortunately , Ajax have been stale the last couple weeks.
Ihattaran is back home right now, fam havent been the same since his pops died and financial indecency kicked in, Schmidt prefered other players/didn’t connect and when he got loaned out to Italy, couldnt settle mentally , said he would stop playing footy, went missing/offline and showed up weeks later on the Herdgang - training pitch of PSV lol
and I thought that was the end of it - I was about to post the pick of him and the PSV staff - but just saw he deleted all the pics dating back to august lol, last photo is him stating he’s ready to ball at Samp…
everyone and their madres already told him not to quit the game, just get the damn bag and retire at 30 but mentally, the kid is somewhere else right now.
