Something tells me this is a signing above Pep's head. I bet money they have a public falling out by the end of the season. He defo aint tracking back for shit, but the hierarchy aint gonna allow him to be benched.

For all the quality players they've had over the years he's maybe their first real global superstar (from a celebrity perspective). This isn't a football signing this is a brand awareness signing to elevate Man City to the Real, Barca global levels. This means they aint getting Kane and probably means they are now frontrunners for Haaland next year kmt.

Financial Fair Play is borderline inexistant since the pandemic started.
He's been there for 4 (soon to be 5) years. The return on investment is cleared.
Money has never been an issue with Qatar. Still not.

His only chance (well, anything is possible in football but you know what i mean) to win one more CL and possibly Ballon D'Or WHILE getting a big salary. He has changed clubs a lot so i don't think him going to the other Manchester going to affect him --- besides with the United crowd.
