No, it shows that Messi doesnt pass the ball forward that much its not like he's behind Verratti on the pitch. People like to explain away every single thing when it comes to Messi. He hasn't lived up to the expectations even as main creator Mbappe has outshined him and he has more assists to Messi than vice versa.

Yea. Roman would have let him start next season unless he somehow blows top 4.
