The grizzlies and warriors both rested last game to get ready to play each for the 8th seed, but the loser gets the spurs play in, who are food vs anyone. There's literally no incentive for either team to win but they're gearing up for war. Losing this game is best for both teams. Shits odd as hell if you think about it.

Them sitting players in THIS case isn't tanking, at least in the traditional sense of the word tanking as we've come to know

Maybe the definition has changed since the implementation of the play in though.

But you're probably being really loose with the word tanking right now to fit your anti play in narrative

So when a team has nothing to play for and has to play out the rest of the string of games so they sit key players that’s a problem right? But sitting guys today is fine? Whatever you say Red from Friday...

You're mad they're sitting players to land a more favorable matchup for the play in?

This is vastly different from sitting players for ping pong balls and you know that

I disagree. You win today and at least you get 2 shots to make the playoffs. You lose and then lose to the Spurs your season is over.
