I wouldn’t be surprised if the Spurs did try to do a sign and trade of DeRozan, especially with them having a decent amount of cap space.
I would be surprised if Miami did that though. You think they like him like that?
I can honestly see (if willing to take a discount) Demar trying to go to one of the L.A. teams or any place that he thinks has a good chance of winning a championship

Well what sparked that thought was just bringing Lowry and Derozan back together while also knowing just getting Lowry isn’t enough

DeRozan is a good (underrated these days) player and really good at what he does (attack the rim and finish) best and while he would help the Heat some I think it’s an odd fit.
your team has the talent though to cover some of his deficiencies and he definitely brings another quality shot creator and facilitator to your team so with some coaching and roster creativity he could be a plus signing.
I’m just kinda surprised the Heat are interested in him to be honest. I heard the rumors but I just took them as speculation

I look at it as soft interest just because he’s an all star caliber player so you have to be open minded about it
I don’t worry about fit no more after seeing this team struggle to score
