The Official 2020/21 NBA Thread

again, you looking at shit in a vacuum and tbh, at this point, i dont expect you to have anything other than a surface level opinion.

I'ma just end this back and forth with this. This season, depending on what you define as a success, the pelicans have enough games and data to know what they need to do to improve the team. They have picks, they have guys they can still move with some decent to good deals, and are positioning themselves to be in good place to acquire talent.

If by the end of Zion's first deal there hasn't been a significant step in the direction of the franchise, then i'll get concerned.

I think they made some great strides in their development of younger players which has definitely been an issue with the previous regime, so to me, that is a win for this season.
NAW, Kira and Hayes definitely have shown flashes of talent. I just feel 3 years removed from the AD trade and getting quality pieces back the expectations should be the playoffs next season. Only reason im saying im not sure if Zion/BI coexist is because i think Ingram isn't as effective off the ball and i think surrounding Zion with shooters is the best option for yall.

So does everyone who doesn't watch non nationally televised games.

These are those same talking points. BI and Zion most definitely can exist and has had success when they've played together. You are basing 3 years removed from AD on half a season of Zions rookie year to present and that's the issue.

Through a teams first 75 games of their career, give me the records of the teams that had

MJ
KD
Steph
Giannis
LeBron

Man fuck all of that when can the Suns clinch the division? Tonight with a win?

I’m trying to take the winnings and throw it into these coins

The East being improved and having more than 3 solid teams isn't a bad take bruh. The original convo was before the Hawks, Knicks and heat started playing better AND they were beating western conference teams 2nd half of the year. It wasn't a dumb take and i stand on it

Was that your initial stance? You know all the posts are still here. You said some silly isht that couldn't be backed up with any kind of stat and were rightfully clowned for it. Don't try to rewrite history.

And that tweet was dumb as hell. You're only cosigning because it aligns with your dumb take as well.

At least the GOAT Kareem getting some sort of flowers out here.....
