The problem is all fouls aren't created equal.
It's one of those situations where how many fouls have they passed on or just flat out missed before they called a foul.
Airborn shooters get more attention to them vs him. He was called on a closeout on Dame a few games ago that from the replay angles, he didn't appear to touch him. This was at the end of the game tied. Dame his both FTs, Pelicans lost.
Meanwhile, a couple of games later, at an attempt at a dunk, jokic side slaps the shit out of him and no call. Same situation with the game being on the line. Denver wins

can we trace this back to the Zaza shit on Kwahi a few years ago to where jump shooters started getting more love for fouls?
At least with harden, when he was driving, he would just exploit the defender when you had your hands low. While it may have been "cheap", he wasn't flailing around and shit like he got shot. Not saying he didnt have his moments, but still, he put pressure on the defender and the official.
I lol'd at Capela who is primarily a rim runner used a comparison to Zion. One thing about capela that I think he doesnt get enough credit for is is ability to catch lobs at their highest points and rarely brings the ball below his waist for people to be able to slap at it, so no, i dont think he should be getting a ton of foul calls either when he doesnt put himself in a position to be fouled.
