There's a new rule now that allows the Surinamese to keep their Dutch passport if they chose to represent Surinam. This is already benefiting them a lot with many new arrivals in the team who are 28-32+yrs old.

I don't want to say it's a last chance scenario but it feels like a loan could be pending if he doesn't step up

Maybe, might need to go to a less stressful environment to regain his pre Achilles injury form. We will see.
