10-15 yrs isn't that long time in football, you have to remember they are like 150 yrs old so to only be competitive for less than 5% of their existence is pretty inconsistent.

I'm speaking on how money is paid out to teams. I was saying in soccer it's probably easier for a club to negotiate a bigger cut of money on say an 8 year deal, than it would be in football. What you just said kinda shows it. 10-15 years of consistency isn't long in soccer... in football that's very long. And it's usually based on 1 or 2 players being there that could be gone any time.

We talked about clubs popularity and then I explained that to you that those things come and go. Any team that buys Mbappe will gain more fans than any NBA or other American sports team have buy just buying one player. When Ronaldinho joined Barca, millions started to support them to, Ronaldo left Real, millions left with him and so on so on.
