Had a very very good chance late in the 2nd half and dude skied that ball. He has lost it a bit, Kane 2 years ago at least gets that ball on target.
Spurs have abandoned their pressing game for whatever reason. Added to that Kane often comes deep now as if he is some fucking playmaker. You're a finisher play to your strengths and stay in the final third in the width of the 18 yard box. I dont know who is indulging him. Tbh this Spurs project has come to an end. It's all come apart and there's no putting it back together

LOL, its cool. Chelsea fans have heard all the "u aint got no history" jokes and that one specifically does nothing to me bcos i dont remember watching a single minute of English football in Nigeria. I liked Chelsea bcos they had a Nigerian player, but it was not that deep. When i came to the USA is when i started watching games and became more of a die hard Chelsea fan.
Naaah don't justify your self to a united fan that lives in London!

Yo what a game, quite possibly the most enjoyable game Ive seen in years... Brighton really were playing like 2011 Barca @DNB1 the players had their tails up and were completely taking the piss at times, the whole team were incredible...

Connelly scoring TWO goals on his first home start at 18 or 19yrs old must be in dreamland...

I was actually hoping to see Son or Erikson show some signs of magic first hand but the whole Spurs team were trash, seeing Son run at full spirt is crazy though, dude could of prolly been a 100meter sprinter if he wasnt a footballer, his game does remind me of a Ronaldo too...

I tried to tell Everton fans to give Big Sam a chance in a new season.

First, look at the stats when he was at Everton. In last or near last in every offensive category. Brands would not have came if Sam was still manager and that means we would not have made the signings that we made. We need to stop going for the flavor of the month. And get someone that can build us from the ground up.

Fair enough. But imo building from the ground up means building from the back first.

By now you guys would be defensively sound and literally just working on attacking form

Sam took you from relegation status to 8th. I believe had he been given the time and money...he would be doing similar to what West Ham have been doing.

I can’t see Sam buying a £30m PL player and leaving him on the bench majority of the time. Iwobi.

He would also not play a youngster and say why would I play him when I payed for Walcott

Brendan Rodgers needs to be taken seriously.
Could he go to Spurs?

Almost had Liverpool dropping points.
Why would he go to Spurs??? That's not an upgrade from where he is at right now.

Mostly tongue in cheek, i know the new stadium has them set up for the foreseeable future.

Hugo Lloris: Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris carried off with dislocated elbow

Brighton

Hugo Lloris is the captain of Spurs and France

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was taken to hospital after suffering a dislocated elbow early in the 3-0 defeat at Brighton on Saturday.

The France international fell awkwardly after failing to hold a Pascal Gross cross in the third minute, with Neal Maupay nodding in the loose ball.

Lloris received oxygen before he was taken off on a stretcher and replaced by Paulo Gazzaniga.

"It's not good news from the hospital," said manager Mauricio Pochettino.

In a statement, Tottenham added: "Assessment will continue this coming week to ascertain the full extent of the injury and the length of time he will require to undergo rehabilitation."

Lloris, who has made eight appearances for Tottenham this season, will now be ruled out of France's upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Iceland and Turkey.

Defeat was a huge blow for Spurs as they looked to recover from a 7-2 defeat at home by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Lloris is lucky its only disclocated, it looked even worse at the time, the pictures going around were brutal too...

A broken elbow or arm at his age is prolly career ending... Incase anyone is eating breakfast, I put the Lloris arm photo in spoiler...

I'll up the stakes and put up my own elbow dislocation:

Dislocations are treated as sprains and are the best case scenario - like you said, you don't want to be breaking any bones as that's far worse.

He'll be out a sling pretty quickly, and from there on it's just building back the strength in his arm because it's going to be sore and weak as hell to begin with. Physically he'll be fine, it's the mental battle (especially as a goalkeeper and needing to dive as part of his job) that's going to be the challenge. He'll be fine though.
