England have no one like a Modric to set the tempo in midfield. 2nd half onwards all England played werw long balls. For England to have success at international level they need to develop a modric/xavi/pirlo/kroos type
Atleast we finally have team though, young, hungry players, who have had the feeling of being embraced by the country and the pain of losing in a semi final (something they dont wanna feel again)... In whole, it seems the team seem to of lost that arrogance and become a family like...

Croatia's midfield was always going to be a problem. You could see England trying to bypass it with long balls, but with the ball in the air nothing is certain. The time when England could have done with a stacked midfield like the Sven days...
