Between PSV vs. Spurs and Dortmund vs. Atletico.

PSV are dominating their league. They have won every game. So its nice to see them against bigger challenges.

Lucien Favre hype is starting to build, so it would be nice to see how Dortmund do against a very defensive team.
 
Oh god no... FIFA are trying to introduce more international and club tournaments...

Please UEFA stop this, we dont need more saturation/watering down of football...

I am afraid we might lose this kid for almost nothing. Dude was our best player in pre season. If that did not convince Sarri to play him, doubt much will.

I understand the pressure Sarri is under as a new coach in a new league. I really dont blame him.

But our lack of stability in the managerial position leads to the kids not getting a chance. New managers are always leery to put their trust in youth.

Yeah I think the problem lies with so many governing bodies (abit like boxing), and everyone is trying to make coin off the sport... FIFA prolly pissed UEFA is (im guessing) making mad money and they want in... Lets not forget how all these pointless games effect our clubs too, because the players are gonna be knackered and potentially pick up injuries...

Nations League needs to be scrapped. It's shit and it adds extra matches that aren't needed. We don't need more of that type of bollocks clogging up the football calendar.

Yeah thats what Im saying, it just dilutes the few major tournaments we have (world cup, cup of nations, euros etc)... I get we need a couple friendlies a year, but not for instance 1 week after pre season when the EPL just starts up lol

You don't need meaningless exhibition games during the season.

I think you do to a degree, not that I would watch the games, but I still think they are needed to try out new players/tactics, inform players, keep players that would normally play against each other as teammates etc a couple friendlies a year I have no problem with... We cant expect to lump a bunch of players together and expect them to preform well at a tournament, especially when we dont know which players to choose or which players play well together...
