Fuck Theresa May. Taking on the role of Prime Minister after the referendum vote was always going to be a poisoned chalice - she didn't have to take on the job.

She never bothered reaching out across party lines to come up with a decent solution that the majority could agree on, she thought she could just crowbar her own deal through without any parliament agreement which when taken to court was proven to be illegal, she held a snap general election which created a hung parliament which reduced her power and saw her jump into bed with the DUP nutters, and she drew up so many red lines with the UK's future outside of the EU that that it made the proposed Withdrawal Agreement so unappealing that she got voted down on it twice. This mess is as much of her own making as the other Brexiteers and David Cameron.

Adding to her dodgy views on immigration and the fact that the whole Windrush scandal was under her watch yet she threw Amber Rudd under the bus to save her own skin, so Theresa May can go fuck herself. Theresa May is the last person that deserves any sympathy.

Her deal was never going to go through last night. Now it's all about waiting for them to vote no deal off the table tonight. We can then probably get closer to just revoking Article 50 and abandoning this whole Brexit nonsense. Brexit has been nothing but a bad joke for two and a half years.
This is why @Northside7 thinks u are a fake Arsenal fan. He wants this type of fire from u EVERYTIME!!!!!!!

Theresa May was a remainer, never believed or wanted Brexit. Came into power by default after DC lost the referendum.

She has followed the letter of the law and tried to carry out Brexit because the people voted for it, even though she knows that the people really had no clue what Brexit meant when they voted. But, as PM it is her duty to do so.

Her own government has done nothing but stab her in the back, her Brexit plan has been voted down twice, survived two votes of no confidence and yet, amazingly ...she still remains PM. If nothing else, this woman is a fighter. And I respect that. I have a little sympathy because for the last 2 years she’s faced snakes and backstabbers trying to please them when she personally doesn’t even want a Brexit.
Thanks for the explanation
Who is dc and what referendum?

Who is dc and what referendum?

May's predecessor David Cameron promised a referendum on whether the UK should leave the EU durin' his campaign. He won and delivered the referendum, assumin' the public would vote to remain in the EU. Leave won, Cameron resigned, May took up the mantle and here we are
