Barcelona are prepared to listen to offers for French forward Ousmane Dembele in January.

The news has put a trio of Premier League clubs on alert, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all thought to be interested in taking the 21-year-old off their hands.

It is thought that club chiefs have already grown concerned over Dembele's attitude, less than 18 months after his £96million move from Borussia Dortmund.

According to the Catalan radio station RAC1, the powers that be at Barcelona are sounding out possible suitors after the forward arrived late for their Champions League clash with Inter.

Dembele arrived at the Nou Camp 25 minutes after the 7pm start time and was left on the bench for the entire match. He was not even sent to warm up once by coach Ernesto Valverde.

Valverde tried to play down the incident afterwards, claiming that it had been a purely tactical decision, but reports suggests the problems with Dembele are deeper.

The World Cup winner did return to action on Sunday in El Clasico, coming off the bench to set up the fifth goal for Arturo Vidal in Barcelona's stunning 5-1 win which signalled the end of Julen Lopetegui's time at Real Madrid.

If he is to be sold, Barcelona would be looking to recoup the £96m they forked out for him — a record fee for all three Premier League clubs chasing him.

Meanwhile, Valverde's side return to action on the pitch on Wednesday night when they visit Cultural Leonesa in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie.

Funny, but abit of a disrespectful or tasteless way to talk about one of your ex players...

I can't recall who said this me or even if I saw it reported from a French reporter (it was at the time of the transaction), but apparently Monaco were laughing their heads off at the price they could sell Martial to United too......as they knew they had a much better player coming through by the name of Mbappe.

Fans think Chelsea have been subtly mocking Jose Mourinho since Manchester United manager's three-finger gesture at Stamford Bridge
  • Jose Mourinho held up three fingers after Manchester United's draw at Chelsea
  • The gesture related to the three League titles he won while he was Blues boss
  • Club have since tweeted out pictures of multiple players holding up three digits

Jose Mourinho held up three fingers after his Manchester United side drew 2-2 at Chelsea

Since then Chelsea's social media output has frequently featured the number three and many believe it is no coincidence.

Ahead of Sunday's 4-0 win over Burnley, Chelsea tweeted out a gif of midfielder Jorginho doing what looked like his own version of the Mourinho salute next to the message: 'Three hours to go!'

After Ross Barkley continued his fine run of form at Turf Moor by scoring once and assisting another two goals, Chelsea posted a picture of him holding up three fingers.

The photo was captioned: 'Ross Barkley is the first Englishman to score in three consecutive Premier League games for the Blues since Frank Lampard, back in 2013!'

And earlier in the week Chelsea retweeted midfielder Mateo Kovacic who had uploaded the words 'Is it 3 out of 3 or what?' alongside a wink emoji, after he helped the Blues to a third straight Europa League victory.

One fan replied to the Jorginho tweet by writing: 'Should have got Mourinho to do this one #3'. After seeing the Barkley photo, another wrote: 'Ross getting in on the Mourinho salute'.

The conspiracists even implicated Ruben Loftus-Cheek after he held up three fingers following his hat-trick of goals against BATE.

Chelsea fan Dean Harris tweeted: 'Even @rubey_lcheek getting in on the Jose salute'.

Meh the players doing it didn't really play for jose

Don't even understand it. Are they mocking him? That doesn't make sense because he actually did win 3 and those players pictured haven't won one. Are they doing it in support? That doesn't make sense because none of them won it under him. Weird all around

DUDE, cant u see it?????? OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!!! Loftus Cheek scored exactly 3 goals on purpose so that he can put 3 fingers up. Barkley made sure (MADE SURE) he scored that late equalizer against Man Utd so that he can put those fingers up. The only reason Chelsea won their first 3 games in the Europa league was so .... U get the point... ITS RIGHT THERE IN THE OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, all jokes aside, that Jorginho one is weird. 3 hours before the game is so random. They might actually be on to something....
