I remember on the IC I said last season that I liked Denver’s roster and make up and somebody laughed at me and said Phoenix would be better this season. Smh. It was the one guy that always got into it with others in the NBA thread.

Anyway, my main reason for liking Denver’s team was the fact that they seem to have had an idea of how they wanted to build their team and drafted accordingly. They had some overlap on positions but they still all had a certain play style which pointed towards how the GM wanted the team to play.

Teams need an actual vision and have the people who knows how to set that vision in action. Most teams don’t have a clear cut vision and don’t do a great job of helping these young guys get better or at least get good at the things they want the players to do.

I think they've done a good job of drafting as of late. Got some nice pieces that fit along side each other. The Sixers really didn't have a vision under hinkie. They drafted 3 centers in the top 7 in consecutive drafts. Look at them now tho. I don't think there's an exact science to drafting as much as it's just mostly luck. The real vision comes into play with player development once you've gathered a legitimate young core. The Suns are still in the process of acquiring talent.

I'll say if you on the suns and you over the age of 24 it's an L

That team is a development one for players coming to the NBA

I'm still rolling with the sun's core. They have a higher ceiling. The Nuggets are good and Jokic is going to be a star if not already one but they are still cluttered at a few postions. Also having Malone as your coach is a plus. Give me Booker/Jackson/Warren/top 5 pick over
Jokic/Murray/Harris/Lyels. It's close tho

I would too. I think they can bring him back on a good contract. Len is a decent rotational player. Bender is still one of the youngest players in the league and has been playing a lot better lately.
 
I cant take the Suns only because they wont be able to develop those players to have winning habits.

I remember a few times this year where Booker waived off the guy who was at the scorers table who was gonna check in for him and the guy went and sat back down at the bench. Coach had 0 control cause the front office allows 20 year old players to run the team.

So Booker, Jackson, and Warren might all become great individual players but the team will still be trash so ill take the Nuggets.
 
The Suns need a new front office. Whats the point of a coach if the front office is so scared that Booker is gonna leave that they let a 21 year old become a decision maker?

Its a small market it isnt as known but the Suns probably have the worst owner in sports
