blake griffin and ben simmons both have avg wingspans and it's tough to finish around the rim without elite wingspan.

one thing that makes donovan mitchell so great is he has extremely long arms.

I heard Ray Allen in an interview say he only shot about a hundred shots a day but he'd make sure they all were good shots. He was saying a lot of players shoot 1000 shots a day but if they're bad shots it doesn't matter and their isn't much improvement to be made.

With Ben it's not just form, he hovers in the air before getting in his shooting motion, then a delayed release and the shot is always flat with little to no rotation. That's a lot to reconstruct

Ray is way more of a natural shooter and had some what perfected his shot by the time he got to the league so he didn't need as many reps. I still believe he shot more than he's leading on tho (in practice/off time), but I gotta take his word for face value.

But your right by saying Ben needs to change his shooting motion. He actually doesn't need to jump as high as he does (most of the best shooters in the league don't elevate up that high), but its more about his release point. 1st off the ball is damn near behind his head! smh... His set point needs to be in front (side or slightly above) of his head obviously. Then he should be letting the ball go when he is highest in the air (right b4 he comes down) w/ his arm completely extended and then fish hooking/following thru, ALL IN ONE FLUID MOTION. That nikka thinks to much when he shoots b/c most people who have 2 step motions in their shot aren't confident in it. His mechanics are all over the place.

Thats why he needs around 1000 reps a day (or every other day) bro. The technical adjustments of his shot has to become 2nd nature b/c he'll just revert back to that robotic broke ass J he got now if he only does a hunnid or so.
