Isn’t be playing more 2 than 1 this season? I know when they played the Spurs Rondo was the starting 1 and Holiday was the starting 2. Most of the time when Holiday was out on the court against the Spurs he was playing off the ball.

I've grown to like the Isaac pick throughout the year. I think we got the best defensive player in the draft. At his peak he could be Draymond with KDs body/athleticism. Just read that he's grown an inch and put on 15 pounds since we've brought him in this summer. Doctors said he could get to 7'2. DSJ was the sexy pick and probably the right pick but we got a nice piece our selves.
Jonathan Issac was drafted on potential and he has the potential to be a great player. Defensively he'll be able to guard every position, create for himself and others and stretch the floor. That's literally the player every team wish they could have.
I loved that pick up for y'all it's just that his true value might not be seen for a few years. Even if he doesn't pan out that way he's an asset defensively.

See that's the thing. I thought his i pact wouldn't be felt for a few years but when he's on the floor he causes havoc on defense both in the passing lanes and around the rim. Completely smotheres guys in one on one's. Hid defense is truly special and there's numbers to back up his impact. Our overall team defensive rating dramatically improves when hes on the floor. I think that we're 10-4 when he plays and something like 10-37 with out him. Really excited to see how he progresses.

And that was only the few games he played in the beginning of the season so like you said he's legit on defense.

Came back a few days ago. We're 2-0 since he's been back. I've noticed Lonzo has had a similar impact on the Lakers. They've played so much better with him in the mix.
