Club America coach Miguel Herrera is hoping to lure PSV Eindhoven striker Luuk de Jong to Liga MX and hopes he can have a bigger impact on the league than Andre-Pierre Gignac has had at Tigres.

"De Jong is the [player] that most interests us," former Mexico national team coach Herrera said. "We've followed it up and [the opportunity] has been laid on the table."

Gerard Deulofeu
could be set for a return to Milan with Inter keen on the Spain international, according to Tuttosport.

Deulofeu impressed at AC Milan last season, with four goals in 17 Serie A starts convincing Barcelona to activate an option to sign him back from Everton in the summer. However, he has started only six times in La Liga this season and, with the Blaugrana reported to be in talks with the other side of Merseyside to sign former Inter player Philippe Coutinho, Deulofeu's chances could be further limited in the second half of the season.

Inter coach Luciano Spalletti tried to sign Deulofeu while he was in charge of Roma and he is now expected to make his move once again to strengthen his side for their push for Champions League qualification in the second half of the season.

Que crees??? IS CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE prestigious enough to start luring stars to LIGA MX OR MLS???
I enjoy the hell out of it.. Funny to watch mls squads get schooled but i feel MX teams are starting to take it serious so MLS never lifts the trophy

Try going back to the 80s. That's really when we were great. After that it's been down hill except for a couple of seasons.

But under Moyes u finished in the top 4 in 2005. Constantly finished top 6-10 under his time there, got to a few cup semi finals

True, but understand us and Liverpool were the main two teams in the 80s. Our problems were two fold. One was Hysel. We never got the chance to play in the European Cup and that cost us. Two was our incompetent after the Premier League started. Twice almost going down while everyone else was getting to further away. Moyes done great things while with us. Our problem is that we still have the thinking of a small club and that needs to change.
