7 episodes is such a random number of episodes to end on. Season 1 was better but I'm not as down as others on Season 2

I wouldn't have minded an episode about the history of the WLF and the Seraphites, how they came to be.

Ellie can be a bit insufferable in the choices she makes. Your quest for revenge nearly got yourself killed by Scars and you still continue down that path, only to end up killing a pregnant woman. You didn't save a child, just like you criticized Jesse for not doing. He possesses a selflessness that she does not and it costs him his life.

Agree a back and forth for 2 seasons makes better sense than 1 season with Ellie and 1 season with Abby. Next season they better have a good ass story seeing as all of the characters will have barely been introduced.

They already got rid of Joel and now there won’t be any Ellie or even Dina and Tommy.
Mel, Owen, and Nora are dead and flashbacks are supposed to get tv audience to care? That just doesn't seem like a good way to get the audience to connect with Abby's viewpoint to me

Good point. They’re going to be building these characters when everybody knows they’re going to die. People aren’t going to want to get too attached.

Bruh the changes to their deaths are terrible and no Alice (dog)? This show is more of a parody now ROFL. I am just watching to see what they mess up next.

“Subverting expectations…” strikes again.

Literally no reason to put Ellie in that Abby scenario with the scars, especially when we see Abby with the rope burns on her neck anyway in the theater.

And the way they played out the relationship between Ellie and Jesse was also an unnecessary change

Didn’t hate this season… but I don’t love it either.

Changing things for the sake of changing has made the shit wack.

Ellie was never on the Seraphite Island, what is the reason of mixing up Ellie and Abby's stories. This show has made us hate Ellie for the bullshit she's done that we didn't feel that way in the game.

I'll admit I didnt like that shit with the fuckin bigass wave and them trying to hang her on that lil island.. not cuz they changed things and it didnt happen in the game the shit just didnt make any fuckin sense 🤣

Bigass wave.. manage to get to an island.. get strung up and they hear a horn and are just like welp.. leave her here fuck it!

I was sure they were gonna show the dog getting taken out but they skipped that shit too.

Thought they wouldve shown what happened to Tommy as well

The Tommy shit went according to the game, we didn't see him in Seattle during Ellie's part until him and Jesse showed up at the aquarium

That stayed the same as well, that was Abby's part
youre right. Forgot about that part.

I will agree with yall that If they staggered it, the storytelling may have been better. Showing both sides within the season instead of splitting it out. I'll be curious to see how they pull it off next season

Between this and the House of the Dragon finale I feel like it's becoming clear that HBO execs are meddling with these shows.

Is Ellie this unlikable in the game? I thought she was pretty insufferable throughout the season, not saying it's Bella Ramsey's fault. I have no complaints about her acting

Never played part 2. Part 1 she was annoying to me

Nah she was actually a likeable character, to me at least. And I think part of why she’s not as likeable is because of the casting, and partly to the writing.

Bella Ramsey just doesn’t have the demeanor of someone you’d be empathetic toward. And the writing has her being an asshole more so than a troubled young girl. When game Ellie made mistakes you actually felt for her.
