First episode was great for the first episode of a new season. I never played the games and don't have anything to compare too. I liked it a lot as a setup episode.

I'd also add that it's basically the apocalypse and everyone had to have done something wrong to survive

Loved the ep. Ellie is a dickhead and Joel gets on my nerves but I understand. I never woulda made it to see any intelligent clickers. Woulda been killed myself
