My only issue was the scene in that place they were in when Ellie got bit. She watches Ellie being immune and they never talk about it. It goes right into I'm pregnant. I get that the director might think it's boring to the viewers to rehash that but I would have still liked Dina to ask questions and then fade to black and make it look like they talked about it for hours.

In a world where everyone turns to fucking zombies, someone gets bit and doesn't change and the person watching doesn't even ask questions really threw off the realism for me.

Thats the only nit pick I had. Other than that, solid episode.

Missed this but it's a great point. It might be tiresome to rehash the convo for the viewers but telling someone you're immune and then proving it should have resulted in a discussion instead of sex
 
After the first season I do not expect the show to live up tot he games, but I am just curious to see how they recreate scenes. It is disappointing when they remove parts, like the spores so that is the only thing that really bathers me. if Lev is bigger than Abyy then that will be hard to overlook LOL. I have not watched this past weeks episode yet.

The previews for next week has spores being introduced. The producers said they went with the vine stuff because it translated better on film. Guess they figured it out.

Druckmann wrote the story for Part 2 as well has took over part the direction of Uncharted 4. People have had an issue with his writing/directing since Uncharted 4 so its no surprise that people do not like his direction for the show. TloUP1 had Bruce Straley as a director who left after Uncharted 4. I do not dislike Druckmann, but some of the decisions he made I do not care for, which is why I am not really interested in ND new game Intergalactic.

They're so much louder in the show than the game. Like sooo much louder lol

I guess the homemade silencer wouldn't have translated to TV. Though she had the bow by now. Guess they decided not to have it for the show

I do miss the notes and stuff we picked up and read though. I think that would have been a nice addition to the show

They did a great job of showing the cordyceps. That room looked great

They changed the death just a tad
 
Ellie got a real dark side to her. I feel like Dina keeps the good side of Ellie intact. Not sure if she would have done Nora that way if Dina was present. Glad we'll get more of Joel even if its in flashbacks. This episode really felt like a video game

Production design was on point this episode
