Yea, I unplugged the power cord from the wall outlet and the ps5 and waited a few minutes before plugging it back in. I was watching my son play street fight.

That'll probably keep happening more frequently. If it does you'll probably have to open it up and clean off the fans and heatsinks. That was how I got it to stop.
 
You're gonna need a goTorx T8 if you want to do the deep clean. And the screws are almost all different lengths so be smarter than me and go from tallest to shortest when putting them back in. But it's still pretty easy. takes about 30 minutes.

So glad I waited and didn't pull the trigger. Maxwell 2 for playstation confirmation was leaked on reddit through someone finding it in the product registration page which was then locked and removed. So an announcement should happen sometime soon for the holiday season. Since Sony bought the company the new one should work seamlessly with the PS5
