The constant name dropping is played out. Every time he does it, it's like fingernails on a chalk board. Even more annoying is the fact that he name drops the same people (Jay, Nas, Dre, Big, Pac, Ye) to the point that his admiration for them comes across as severe dick riding or begging for acceptance from "the cool kids". He's got too many years in the game and albums under his belt to still be on it like that imo.

Why is it that every rapper has a 'thing' that they always do, but it is a constant complaint when it comes to Game?

Meek yells, Drake sings, Hov talks rich shit, Fabolous does punchlines, most of the finale rappers talk about their pussy, Nas lost, Twista raps fast, Rick Ross talks luxury, Jeezy and Pusha talk drug shit, Eminem is rappity rap, etc...

At this point complaining about Game name dropping is like complaining about water being wet.
