Before yall even fix your faces to ask what about black pn black crime understand the conditions set and why they were set to keep blacks in poor urban centers in that cycle. Then ask yourself if any other race were up against those conditions would they be different.

That being said, if ever a case study needed to be done on black on black crime. Chicago most definitely is place to do it. In other cities it might be hot cause gun play is the way things are resolved, it's a drug hub, folk just get it how they live. A high crime rate just comes with that area.
In chicago tho, it seems the kids literally and figuratively just get off on killing each other. Think of all the terminology you hear around the states. You might get in the west "anybody killer"..in the east "piss on ya grave"..in the south "put ya face on a tea shirt"...
