The more I hear canadiens talk about their country the more it seems just like the USA. That goes along with all the other western countries that folks love so much. The people let it be know.

lol That's because people always complain about what they don't like. Europeans complain about their healthcare systems all the time because those systems aren't perfect. Now look at their reaction when they find out how our shit works.



The NHS is literally using U.S. bullshit to quell unrest about their system. lol

That’s true.

But I been taking deep dives into out folks countries and listening to them and the things that’s going on and was stunned. The racism in those white counties in Europe is crazy among a bunch of things.

but I really been interested in how native Hawaiians feel about being part of the USA and how they want all folks off their islands That’s been my cup of tea lately.

Yeah, deep dives like that are tough because you're basically taking the opinions of the most vocal, but that doesn't always represent the majority.

I spent a couple weeks in Hawaii and chopped it up with so native Hawaiians. I didn't get the impression that they didn't want to be part of the US or that they didn't want non-natives on the islands. What I did hear them say is that there was still work to be done to undo some of the wrongs comitted against the natives and that they were happy that they were not part of the contiguous 48 and thus had more of their own culture. It really does feel different there. I loved it. For me, it was like going to one of the Caribbean countries and escaping a lot of the American BS, but not having to deal with some of the inconveniences that come with leaving the country such as different currency, different language, different standard of living, etc... My only problem there was the low number of black people, but a lot of the natives and other pacific islanders I met remind me a lot of black people.
