I'm gonna get it. Would have saved me time coming from dubai. It is good for 5 years so it is worth it to me. My parents have it and they just be flying through customs.

Well, the only overseas flights Spirit does is mainly the Caribbean islands and some south american countries. I wouldnt worry about global entry anyway since you fly spirit. Most of your waiting wont be because of customs, it will be just getting on your plane.
