Man I turn 38 in less that 2 weeks. I keep telling myself I’m gonna actually date women and try to be in a relationship but some of these women are insane. And I really don’t wanna date one with kids because I have no children but smh. What to do?

My only issue with this is that I’ve seen it everywhere on every platform with the same level of emphasis and excitement. And it’s weird because yes it’s a breakthrough but not at the level at which it’s being promoted. It’s James Webb level type news. But you’d think it’s cured cancer type news. Anytime something doesn’t add up like that..it sets off alarms for me

This is a bad take. It might not be that important to you, but it's far more significant than you making it sound. James Webb is just an updated version of the Hubble. We're getting a lot of good info from it, but it doesn't really represent anything revolutionary in science. It's pretty much what you'd expect given the advances in tech we've had since the Hubble was put up.

This breakthrough is basically the result of scientists all over the world working for decades. It's literally something that some weren't sure was even possible. It's true that we're still decades from fusion being a viable energy source, but this is basically the door they needed to open to make big progress. Put it like this, if we had gone another couple decades without them achieving this, we might have seen groups giving up on it altogether.
