Get the Kobe header out of there as well

I’m sure this is affecting how ppl post and if they wanna bother

where are the leaders!??
Yea I usually have a flick through during work breaks to check news etc, I just open the site if it ain’t loading up in a normal timeframe I’ll shut the page and go elsewhere.

thing is I prefer this site and the users viewpoints here and the familiarity. A lot less corny opinions here and less convoluted by weak trolling attempts.

A game sorta like GTA online needs to be made.. but the caveat is, you can only carry enough weapons and ammo that an actual individual can carry. So it puts more of focus on people that wanna walk around strapped up like they are in Fallujah in the 90s.

They gotta put their bread into harnesses, and shit like that to hold the ammo. And that shit only holds what it's actually able to hold. Also, death needs to carry an actual penalty, like your character is dead for the rest of the day.

Really would the whole role playing thing work on online games.

sure somewhere on PC there will be mods for the realism in terms of carrying inventory.
Death penalty could work similar to dark souls, have to complete a difficult mission with diminished stats and inventory to be allowed back into the online world.

Yea like that, so in that sense you could actually build a hierarchy in the gaming world. So then gangs and criminal organizations can really matter. You pop someones don, and you have a green light on you on the server everyday you sign in till you pay a financial penalty for it. Which makes it harder cause their guys always on the lookout to body you for the day.

A dev would never implement a feature that stops player engagement for 24 hours. Especially one that would feature micros transactions heavily. Is bad business.

Its risky, but I think the risk of consequential gameplay would drive numbers of players up so high that it would overcome it.

Plus you have to consider streaming, still being able to view the game happening. Maybe popping a don shifts the games eco system, so it creates the opportunities for players to be mercs.

You can pay real cash for hardware and ammo maybe. Plus consequential gameplay is something thoroughly missin and desired in gameplay right now.

That's why cyberpunks bombing was so prolific in the gaming world. It was supposed to have consequential game play. I believe theres a market to explode there if a dev is willing to both risk it, and create a dynamic enough world of things to do, and content to purchase in game with the spoils of successful endeavors.

Consequential gameplay is missing cus a lot of the game community are spoilt brats who want quick gratification from gameplay or be able to pay their way to the top.

never had to turn the console on and start from scratch everytime or leave the console running to “save” your progress.

Streaming could carry a game like that, they'd definitely need to make it free to play though. Imagine paying $60 for a game and you get bodied immediately after stepping out the creation menu, mfs would be heated.

Yea, I think that leveling up should come with an increase in health.

So like say, to make it fair, characters about level 10 cant kill characters below that level unless first fired upon. And a new player can kill a player above level 10 because the health is too high.

So if you start a organization, and you crown a top member, capo and such. You give that player an off top level 20 of health. So it ain't no easy feat to knock off a boss and capo.

But someone playing as a merc can become a level 20, and have the ability to body a capo or boss for the right amount. But then, that might put a price on his head..and such.
