I do know if you don’t do what is required you have to actually come out of pocket

like for example if you get a pell grant but then drop out

Ooooooh, ok..damn, how much is college that you have to get loans and pell grants? And imagine incurring all that debt and just bouncing on it. This shit is confusing, I see why he’s not just canceling all debt. We think of those people that got a lot of debt but got their degree, and not the people that got huge loans and dropped out. I could see how its a hard sell to say..you ain’t do what you were supposed to do but we good.

Depends on the school, degree, if it’s community college, etc

I think they're just using the Pell grant as an identifier for low income college students for the $20k. I could be wrong because I haven't had a chance to really look at it yet though
