I mean now that I think about it she didn’t react in a bad way at all and I mean she did thank me and she probably was a little bit embarrassed

I guess in my mind I thought the reception would be more grand but that’s kinda on me not her

but word you’re right and now that I did that (don’t normally have the opportunity to) I really don’t see how ppl record doing nice things for ppl or going on social media to talk about it.

Aye, gotta question for y’all. I applied for an IT job for this upscale start up business. Totally thought they wouldn’t even pay attention to my application cause I’m black.

So they hit me to meet wit a recruiter through teams. Interview goes well, she says if I get back to you I get back to you though email.

So today she emails me saying that she was happy my meeting with Tommy the head the department went well. My next Interview will be with the head of two other departments.

Now, I never had a meeting with tommy. A few moments later she sends me a invite to an interview with Tommy, like I never got the other. I hit her up and ask her which one is legit. She says she tried to retract the first one but she guess it didn’t work.

My question to y’all, since she had it printed up to be sent, and as the meeting with Tommy pointless. Do I have the job already and they are running me through hoops, or..ion know.

I thought maybe this is some scam shit but the company and the people involved are all legit

dont overthink it. Meet with whoever you need to and if you get the gig you get the gig.

No, you dont have it yet. When I had to do multiple interviews, the first is like an entry interview with people that may not have the knowledge of what you are applying to. They just might be upper management and hr. The other interview would be with experts in what you are applying to. Like the team lead of the team you will be going ton if hired. They are usually the ones that will test your knowledge .

I’ll say this. Defined roles in any relationship is soooooo beneficial. Of course sometimes that person can’t complete their role and you have to but it’s makes everything run soooo smooth when they stated.
