The problem with true socialism is that people less skilled are elevated and people who excel are suppressed. There are people who certainly do things better than others. I think you can use some elements of socialism for the betterment of society but a mix of capitalism and socialism is a better overall ideology imo to create a balance.
The super duper rich should pay more but there also people who don't want to work and shouldn't get to enjoy the fruits of my labour. There's no easy solution but this is how I feel.
