My guess is those people just don't want to post. It's easy to get into a habit of scrolling and reacting and not actually interacting in a real way. Even if the threads aren't your cup of tea, you can make threads about the stuff you want and or like. I have a few threads nobody really interacts on. But I still post lol.

And for some it might be too time consuming. They just wanna observe and then go on they way.
