First I wanna say thank you for the love! I really do appreciate it, sincerely!
What happened this morning was a result of some shit that happened a few weeks ago.
A few weeks ago my radiator hose exploded while I was driving, so my ride has been sitting for a couple weeks because they discontinued the original part I need because it's an old school. When I ordered the part online they gave me the wrong one, so of course I have to wait a little longer. In the meantime I'm on my bum shit on a bike as my only source of transportation until I'm able to work on my ride.
Fast forward to this morning, I'm riding this bike to work and this pick-up truck pulls into a driveway and almost hits me, but he saw me because we made eye contact before he did it, I naturally begin to confront dude but it felt petty so I kept it pushin, literally. He didn't even get out when I was approaching, like he did what he did on purpose but then acted like he didn't want no problems. A couple minutes later I'm going downhill on the street where the bike lane would be if there was one. Another car is pulling out of a driveway but he's also looking dead at me while he blocks the bike lane and almost hit me. To avoid him I swerve out into the car lane to avoid getting hit by a car! I'm still going downhill and there's another driveway to the same shopping center. Now an SUV is going the other direction is trying to bust a u-turn while another car is in the 2nd driveway of the shopping center trying to make a right turn. They both go at the same time and completely block off the street. I'm still going downhill on a bike so I go behind the car that's blocking the driveway. At the same time he hits reverse and hits me and I fall onto the car that's behind him. The car I fell on was concerned and the dude in the car was acting scared, to where he wouldn't open his doors or roll down his window or nothing. I wasn't injured so I got back on my route.
About 10 min later, I'm crossing an intersection and a box truck was trying to turn right, but he's looking into the other direction of oncoming traffic. and continues to drive. He runs over my left foot and front wheel. He stops and says I'm sorry, but I'm banging on the front of his shit telling him to back up because the truck is sitting still on top of half of my left foot. I pull my foot out with my sock and boot still under this truck.
Amazingly my foot is cool, just hurts a little and I got a few minor cuts and scrapes on my left leg, My bike (which is my only transportation at the moment) is wrecked but other than that I'm good.
Do I believe in a higher power? Yes I do.
