I have been using a lot of mushroom and seitan lately as substitute for what should tradionally have meat. Also egg plant goes a long way. I don’t mess with tofu because that is not really good for you. The hardest thing to do is learning how to cook plants properly. I would really suggest you find vegan restaurants and/ recipes. If you link to Veganfoodshare.com that is a good start. Also, like any other style of cooking get a good cook book. The main problem I have is sometimes it takes a lot of food for me not to feel hungry in 2 hours. But it is easy to find vegan food in NY. The supermarket sells vegan ice cream and my wife makes cookies and stuff.Aye Dread gotta question.
I'm thinking about trying the plant based things again. Did it for like a month and gave up. I was eating the same things and got burned out.
What are your staples? What do your normal meals look like? What do you snack on?
