When the they cash they mean convert it to local currency. If you start flashing to many US dollars they start charging you based on that. Also, safer to have local currency no matter where you go.

People told me not to convert the money because it's a waste of time. I don't plan on buying anything but maybe souvenirs and paying for tours and stuff. The resort is all inclusive.

If you stay on the resort than it is not a problem but if you leave the resort...... also, anyone that told you that converting money is a waste of time is absolutely wrong and doesn't spend money when they travel. Do you want to convert every time you buy something? And do you know how quickly you can get robbed. If I sell you something and I say it is 50 I could mean 50 of my currency and you hand me 50 U S not thinking. Local food shops and crafters are not taking credit.

I was swinging and trying to see how high I could go. When I got to the highest point I was trying to see if I could jump and do something fly to impress the ladies. Well... I got so high I tried to jump and somehow the seat caught my leg and I got drug all on these rocks and ended up hurting my back.
