It's been 20 years.....20 y'all....

When this iconic animated show debuted on cartoon Network..

Us true nerd niggas.... We was there day 1, we read the comics, we knew the lore.. And when the announcement was made we knew immediately the world wasn't ready... But yet it still went forward.

And it was perfection. Late 2005, early 2006... Black culture received it's animated GOAT.... While the rest of the world watched with us... They laughed at the jokes... We FELT the jokes...we understood the satire.... We fully embraced this comic turned phenomenon for what it was from the very start. A large influential component to our culture. A modern day classic.

An amazing rewatch.... That's really 20 years old y'all. And still very relevant... Mainly, cuz it's timeless.

That episode is a whole horror movie now.
20 years later? We absolutely know a latarian in real life and we have absolutely told our hardheaded children to stay the fuck away from that lil monster to no effect.
 
Funny I was just thinking of doing a rewatch of this. I didnt follow the comic too closely. I remember strips being posted on the IC every now and then and I was familiar with huey. I watched the day it aired and every day after that religiously though. Great show. Didn't care for the 4th season much but still watched and not mad that I did.
