Well said. This is exactly how I feelIf this was weekly and I had to sit with episode 1 for a whole week I’d be pissed, lol. It was beautifully shot but nothing really happened.
And I agree with some takes saying this season got away from the core themes in the first two seasons and focused way too much on the fine dining industry at large. I feel like fine dining is too pretentious and so felt this season was too pretentious as well. If I was a chef I’d probably love it.
That being said, still a good season with stellar acting. I just couldn’t connect the way I did the first two seasons. Those seasons were focused on the relationships, building something together and reaching an impossible goal with flawed people. That was intriguing and inspiring whether you’re a chef or not.
