You way too invested in this chick fam. At the end of the day both Angel and Caitlin are barely 22. I hope both get to reach their potential, and all these old bitter WNBA chicks need to fall back and allow their sport to finally become relevant

Am I wrong for thinking the whole WNBA should be milking Clark's popularity to get more eyes on the league, which helps grow the fan base, get more sponsors, then see more players become household names, get bigger contracts.... what am I missing?

Since when do we not expect White money and interest to garner mainstream success? Isn't Aaliyah Boston on Clark's team? She was on an undefeated college team and no one cared. White girl looks like Curry and white people care, so mainstream media cares... now Black players can capitalize on the attention.

I get that it's a well established league already and that Clark hasn't earned any respect, but I'm not sure I would be treating the media as if they owe other players' credit for WNBA popularity.

Females ain't the same, let's be real. They hate on the younger woman who walks into any workplace, this shit isn't new. The comments older players keep putting out only make it more obvious.

Right now the WNBA has the best crop of young talent for women since the 90s, so they should be mentors and not try to bully them. All that whining about being payed fairly, well it's time to pull up. Eyes are finally on their sport, and right now they're seeing a lot of bitterness and hate, instead of entertainment.

Anyone who's been paying attention this season has seen the cheap shots and hate, I'm not going to list it out. At the end of the day the WNBA is at the bottom of mine and 99% of the public entertainment list. I've only started to pay attention because of players like Reese and Clark. Would be cool to see them be the next Magic/Bird, but if not then oh well.

What I know is the product before this season has been garbage. Last time the WNBA mattered at all was back when players like Leslie were playing

It's not bullying, it's rookie hazing

only difference is Angel didn't flop on hip check like Clark. She got choke slammed by one of the best players in the WNBA and wasn't looking to up to the refs when it happened

I’m not judging their reactions to said slights, but this seems to go beyond rookie hazing. This the shit Jordan got the NBA rules changed for. Pistons was whooping his ass and the NBA was not about to have their breadwinner beat up.

WNBA just following the NBA playbook to secure their future and I don’t think you can blame them.
