The A.I Megathread (Large Language Models / LLM's, ChatGPT, Development)

I use AI art for a variety of things. To be honest, if that didn't exist, I just wouldn't be able to do those things. I'm not an artist and none of it is important enough for me to pay anyone for it.

I've started making AI music just as a hobby. I'm not a musician, so again, that's just something I wouldn't do if not for the tool.

I see a lot of potential in AI. I just think it needs to be regulated and slowed down a bit.

Piggybacking off your point about the regulation. The GodFather of A.I. doesn’t think regulation will amount to much dealing with A.I.

Depends on what regulations you're talking about. I think I read that the UK has rules against mass firings, which slows the degree to which companies can replace the workforce with AI.
