Nobody taking sustainable justice in these streets without the government implementing policies and passing laws. Like it or not, you’re in America and that’s America’s way.

Protesting pushes the government to act, but it does nothing on its own.

Voting results in either people in government being more likely or less likely to respond positively to those protests. Republicans have proven to be on the less likely side.

I feel like this should be posted at least once a week on here

Its called systemic racism. They have black people written as property in their constitution, just because they amended it means nothing. They still in their courts deem black people as property, which is what makes their laws Illegitimate. We the people are the ones that decide whether its legit or not. Not them. Until black americans have sovereignty we'll always be treated like property. No tangibles for black americans alone, no vote.

It doesn't make a difference if its trump or biden, they both refuse to give black americans reparations across the board. So we'll take justice in these streets like we've been doing until these political parties cut the check. But you don't hear me though.
They don't hear you...these niggas witnessed 4 weeks of uprising making more changes than 60 years of voting has ever done but they keep playing dumb

Idealism with no practicality. Got to have both.

What changes? Law changes? Policy changes? And who did that? Not who prompted that, but who passed those laws and implemented the policies?

Both are needed, protests and votes. Why y’all think only protests are the answer. Very myopic.

Example:
What got all these Confederate statues removed in no time, voting or revolting? Ok then

Aite so let's put a team full of mitch McConnells in office and see how quick they capitulate to these changes. It ain't dumb to realize we need both.

Go put black people in positions of power and watch the paradigm shift.

What them statues gonna do about them putting their knees to our necks? Or the rash of lynching, oops my bad, "suicides" that have cropped up while this has been going on? It's so unnecessary to be so divisive. We can take it to the streets AND the ballot box. Both have value to the cause.

Unless you want to disparage the people who laid their lives down for your right to vote (and give an easy win to them crackers who want you to stay on the sidelines), you should rethink your strategy.

Pretty much.

You cant get that "look where protesting/rioting got us in three months vs. all these years" bar off without recognizing that at the SAME time there were people who were elected into office to put actual LAW into place.

Like you said @PhenomTheMac ... both are needed
