Nah I think the opposite, college needs to adopt the nfl rule. If you tackle me 40 yards down field cause I beat you the ball should be placed where the foul occurred cause you basically did it to stop a touchdown

That's making the assumption the receiver would have caught it. Maybe split the difference? Minimum 15 yards, max half the yardage?
