"Tendernism Unk" Is In A 360 Deal?

I'm with Beta on old dude being like a celebrity caterer. He could use the viral buzz he currently has to parlay that into getting clients. No respectful bank would lend money to that old man who has never ran a business. Besides the stress of running the biz will pretty much kill his joy of grilling.

I haven’t really been keeping up with this closely, but why did folks think he owned the restaurant? Did he ever have videos of him at the smoker? Is he a pit master? Like what was his job there besides doing videos?

I think it’s strange that many people automatically thought it was his restaurant. I also think it’s a bit odd, if he doesn’t have (I don’t know if he does) any videos of him actually prepping and cooking the food that folks think he can do this on his own.

The couple of videos I’ve seen makes me think he might have been just a brand ambassador aka a hype man. Either way, the owner came off as a hater who was mad he didn’t get more credit via social media.

I’m rooting for the older gentleman

My pops used to loving cooking

He opened up a restaurant back in like 08 and his love of cooking got destroyed

That Mercedes the owner gave him is the 60,000 dollar or the 30,000 dollar one?

Either way it’s a tax right off that he’s bout to get right back.

Business expense.

I’m somewhat in the same boat.
Late to the story, mainly because it started on TikTok, which I don’t really follow.

It seems this was never the reality, and it all comes down to people romanticizing it...AGAIN. The idea of an old-school cat making it big and going viral with the restaurant he owned and operated. Then they found out who was really the “boss.” That shattered the dream and illusion, and people generally don’t take that well.

When I first saw really "talking", outside viral clips.... “Unc,” he was sitting beside the real owner, and my first thought was that he seemed docile—almost buck-broken. He didn’t come off as a leader, boss, or owner of anything.

ain't it like a whiteman. get put on. an avalanche of customers, but he feels shortchanged. the white dude has his own ronald mcdonald. pay the mascot. why'd the white dude put him all up in the video oops i mean instagram page if he wasn't humored by the personality and didn't Unk coin "tendernism"??? but the white man went and got it patented?? here we go
